Weekend Update

Sorry for the NY-only posts recently, there's some stuff with a more international feel on the way.

However, for some reason NY has been a great place for music during this past few weeks, and it continues this weekend:

Fresh off a performance @ Mutek in Montreal, Cristian Vogel makes a rare appearance in Brooklyn. I never got a chance to see him play back when Super_Collider (his project with Jamie Lidell) was touring, so i shant be missing this one (Jamie is also playing 2 days in town @ the Bowery Ballroom next Sunday and Monday). From the mixes i've heard, it should be very heavy and extremely impressive.

Weekend Update: Newark Lincoln Park Music Fest.

I got to see Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium. To see Tony Humphries and Naughty By Nature in Newark? Jersey WHAT?!?!?

UPDATE: This was WONDERFUL. I never wanna see music in Manhattan ever again. Showed up in time to see Joe Claussel, Loleatta Holloway, and Tony Humphries. Didnt have enought light to shoot Tony, but I promise, he was there.
