We Rock Music 001

I'm ready to start another discog of an out of print French Label, this time, its We Rock Music, the late great label founded by Raw Man, Romain Seó. Just eight 12" records in this one (plus a couple of CDs). I'm still pulling these together from the ends of the earth, so for this go-round it wont necessarily be one-a-day, but they will be up in short order. Enjoy.

Aloud

My man Kiyoshi dropped this gem on me, Bob O'Lean by Aloud, another tremendous artist that has an ungoogleable name. Apparently, they have produced records on the We Rock Music label, which is run by Romain Seó of the Buffalo Bunch. After enjoying the fuck out of this track, i dug through the "crates" and found a few more tracks by them that i'm ecstatic to have in my library.

I'm gonna try and learn some more about who these people are, and give a listen to their self-titled album, which i've recently gotten, but haven't had a proper chance to listen to. My first impression reminds me of Phoenix, but with a heavier tendency towards disco, and way more aggressive vocals. Perhaps a proper review to come, but for now, i'd rather get these tracks up to you ASAP.

EDIT: I did find a little article about Aloud, and you can find it right here.
EDIT OF EDIT:It hurts me that i was not at this (bottom paragraph). Sigh.
