Herbert @ Studio B

I guess Studio B didn't close after all?

And good thing, too because they're hosting one of the best, Matthew Herbert, for a DJ set this weekend, and if its anything like his last NY appearance, at Canal Room in 2006, we're in for a real good time.

I hope to see you all there, its good to be home again.

P.S. Got all your emails while I was gone, and I'll write back as soon as i can get caught up. -SGB

OH FUCK. Romanthony is at LOVE

It was bad missing the Obama inauguration, but I´ll be in a beach paradise, and my country would be in good hands, so i figured it´d be ok.

It was bad missing a lot of work, because when i return from this vacation, I´m gonna be one poor dude.

But this is the fucking worst. Thanks Kristin, for both making and ruining my day:

ROMANTHONY IS PLAYING AT LOVE ON 1/17/09!!!

MEXICO trip

I just wanted to mention that I'm taking a trip to Mexico in January, and have no real plans as of yet. So if you're from Mexico and have some recommendations for me, I'm all ears. Thanks.

Vertigo 001 - The Julia Set - "Catch Your Pain"

Many thanks to Max in Germany for digging this one up. Only one more EP left to complete the Vertigo Discography, Gile's "Third Episode", anyone?

DARLING RECORDS [DARLING001]
Axel Le Baron - Primary School

There is a sample available at Darling Records' MySpace

Apparently Rico the Wizard is involved in producing/mixing this first 12", but its all speculation through the rumor mill from there. If anyone gets any good info, pass it along.

This is VERY good news.

EDIT: There is an interview with Axel Le Baron on the MaximalMinimal blog, lots of juicy, exciting info.
