Remix Thursday #10: Just Music

Its been a nice couple weeks for this blog. I mean, much as these incessant Geico commercials keep telling me: If you wanna make a lot of friends, giving away Crydamoure tracks--not a bad idea! And so i've been wondering how to keep all of you, my new internet pals, in my life. I really am going to continue to post things every day, and to really make this worthwhile for everyone. I may stop posting "Remix Thursdays" soon (unless you all think otherwise), and just start putting up good music more consistently (without the rules, and without stealing Palms Out's thing--they're really good at it too). I'm gonna call this Remix Thursday #10 this time, but honstly, its just a collection of music i've found this week that i'm a-likin'.

First up, are two new (to me) remixes by Live Element. One of the bad things about having a great band and a mediocre name is that NOBODY CAN FIND YOU ON THE INTERNET! They dont have a myspace, and googling "Live Element" only gets me a rock band from the UK that sounds a bit too much like Creed for my comfort. If anything knows about these folks, please leave a comment about it, and/or email me, because i've been wondering for a while. Learning about Live Element's 2 big hits nearly knocked me out of bed (this would have been bad, as I was stuck in bed with a herniated disc). Could you imagine how frustrating it is to not be able to dance to this shit!?!? Here are said hits for your perusal.

And here are the two remixes. Again, they're not new-new, but they've helped me get my disco fix, in a week full of it.

Wandering around the interwebs this week, i revisited one of my favorites blogs that i can't understand at all, Boule a Facettes, I came across a couple tracks from a new album on the [fucking awesome] Get Physical Label, Body Language, Vol. 5, mixed by Chateau Flight. I have reposted these below, because i think they are great, as is the whole album really, with a lot of groovy Space Disco and Tech-house, including a new track by my boy Terje.

I:Cube - Prophetization (Demo Mix) [RIGHT-CLICK TO DOWNLOAD]

Sneakily pulling some tracks off of Boule (view that source, people), I saw that one originally came from another site, the Beeb Blog. This Beeb fellow hasn't been doing this for too long, but he clearly gets it, as nearly everything i have read on this sight is on point, running the spectrum of "shit Ethan likes", from Kylie to SebastiAn. Here are three new ones (again, maybe just to me) that Big Brother Beeb schooled me on. Read: New Green Velvet, friends. Apparently this (LaLaLaLaLa) is the track that DJ Heather was playing on Tuesday night that was killing us. And the new SebastiAn is fucking great.

So thats it, amigos. Another evening spent inside blogging, when i should have been out partying, but from a look at the calendar, there should be plenty of that to go around this weekend.

Sweet dreams.

Heart,
e.

Great posts, thanks.

The second live element song you posted is reminiscent of Exile's "Kiss You All Over." In fact I'm certain they cribbed it. Whatevs, it's good.
